4-gauge dash pod

I looked through some old reciepts last night, back in 2000 I bought it from Scheid, it was over $50:mad: What was I thinkin??? I guess that its a collectors item now:-laf

I dont know if you have A/C, but on my '90, my father cut holes where the A/C ducts would have been, and we mounted the need gauges in them, 3 in mine, but more would fit easily. But this was before those pods were available (90-91'ish)...

Yeah, its an ac truck.

As it is very obvious that there dash pods are a no longer, I have started planning on the next option: Gauges above the rear view.

Will post pics when I get it done in a few weeks. :D

Dash pod

Robert, did you give-up all together on the dash-pod search? Never thought that I'd need another, but... here's what I had to do

Not the best view, but dad insisted that I leave this stupid spotlight on the truck, leftover from the PO.

I just recently bought the 3rd gen triple gauge pod from Geno's. The only problem was the tach from Isspro wont fit. The studs are not at 3 and 9 o'clock like most gauges. They hit the top, and I can't trim enough and still install the clamp.

Dieselman

Well, I did the following.

I already have the triple dash pod, and three on the A pillar, so I ordered a 3rd gen roof triple pod that goes above the rear view. It will require some cutting/modding but I think it will work. I will post pics when I find out! ;)

Has anyone used/seen the 2nd gen steering column pod? I've heard it will fit in the 1st gens if you don't tilt the wheel up all the way.

here's mine (Autometer 2nd gen triple pod, trimmed to fit) -

... and if you have an auto, (look close) installing the 2nd gen shift lever (with the o/d button at the tip) is a really nice upgrade. I like the triple gauge pod with the 2-1/16 gauges - nice and tight, doesn't obstruct my 'view'.
