Hi I have '89 w350 srw that i'm doing aa rebuild on the front suspension and brakes etc my stock springs are about 1/2 " from the bump stops and that is sitting with out my snow plow on. . with it on, its is definately touching and sagging. Hearing all this jazz about the 4" superlift springs got me looking but they don't offer a 1 ton front spring, and defiantely no diesel front springs. . and since this truck does snow plow i'd like stronger springs so it doesn't sag . stock the springs are reversed pretty much. So what are my options ? so far it looks like custom front springs? how much do most spring shops charge for front springs?. .
My second question is i am planning on getting a a new set of tires 235/85/16 /r e load range cooper discovery stt 's . . and i was thinking of getting a set of aluminum rims for it and i can't find any in my magazines that are 7' wide or so, and 8 lugs that are relatively cheap $ wise. . any leads? something that is polished with a hole pattern and strong for abuse?
also on a side note i am planning a p7100 swap soon and was wondering can i still use the first gen power steering and vacuum pump with the p7100 gear case?
thanks
