Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) looking for good diesel mechanic

SSkinner, No truck is not back up yet. Last Sunday evening, I had to take it downtown and it ran OK until I went to return home... I think it went into limp mode because it took me almost 45 minutes to get 8 miles back home. . I had checked the computer codes on Saturday and then again when I finally made it home Sunday night. I had 8 different codes on Sun than on Sat. I called another local dealer and trailered the truck up there on Tuesday night for a Thursday appointment. They called me on Friday and said that they first need to put a new ECM in it and it is not covered under warranty... and cost is about $1000. 00. And they are not sure that will fix everything. Great news... ... . ECM should be in Monday and hopefully if they find anything else it will be covered under the warranty... I Hope.
