Looking for IHC Travelall

I have a second gen 12V and both 5 spd and auto, and need to put it in something interesting.



The mid to late '60s IHC Travelall (after the ugly stacked headlight version, before the Scout based ones) in 3/4 ton 4x4 is just about exactly what I want. A similar aged Suburban would do as a poor substitute.



Definitely need something without rust.



Anyone know of any?

I have a 1970 Travelall (I think it is 1970, will check tomorrow) that my grandfather purchased new. Have every record for oil changes, brakes, etc. In great condition. I'll check tomorrow and let you know exactly what year it is.

If it is the "rounded" body style, that is what I am looking for. The '70s square box just doesn't do it for me.

Pat, There's a round fendered International here in Texas. I saw it this morning in front of a house on the way to the shop. I think it's what your looking for. I'll try and stop and grab you some pictures of it and the info. It is definitly for sale.

Seems that my preferrence is for the rounded up to '68 style, whereas my buddy wants to do the later square one. Truth is, a super-sound body is what will really drive the program. Let me know what you find.

Paul, I PM'd you. I finally got to get some pictures of the Travelall here in Texas. I can't post them here, but will send them to you as soon as I have your EMAIL address. I got the guys # too!

It is definitally a round fendered, but a 2 wd. The guy claims it runs and it has very little superficial rust on it. Not dents or scraps that I can see. I sent you my Email.

i have a buddy that has what u are lookin for its rounded and has the gas tanks in the front fenders he wants it gone soon or its going to the scraper i think he wanted like 500 i dosent have a front axel or motor in it but he does have it and a parts truck with it last i talked to him

I know where there is a pretty nice one similar to the one that Don in MO posted. It is at a junk yard in central MO and I was very impressed with its condition. Let me know if you are interested.

I went to ebay and type in International Harvester the other night and found a few there and a few old trucks too .
