I have read some threads in the past about changing regular head lights to the 4 light sport headlights. But now that I want to do it, I have not been able to find any. the truck is a 2002 2500. Any help would make an old man happy.

In addition to the lights you will need a third party harness. SUV lights is supposed to make one, Summit Racing I have read has one. Daniel Stern makes one and a guy on here makes them firefighter 2000 see links below for harness info

As far as the lights check amazon or ebay. Also Geno's Garage sells them. The depot brand that they sell while not as good as OEM they seem to be better than at least some of the other aftermarket. If I recall OEM lights were upwards of 350-400 for the pair when I converted. The link below shows just the left side you would need the right as well.

The job is fairly simple to do. The harness is plug and play and the lights only a few screws hold them in. You may need to lower your front bumper a bit to get to the bottom screws. I have an after market bumper and had to drop it.

I have the Depot ones. If I did it again, I'd pony up the dough and would get Mopar OEM ones. The Depot lights are a nice improvement over the non-sport lights, but the fit/finish leaves a lot to be desired. But you get what you pay for. I'll stick with them, but if I ever need to replace one, I'll go with the OEM lights next time. I have the Daniel Stern harness - very well made. I've heard good things about Firefighter2000's harness, too.

I bought the harness last year from Daniel Stern. Winter came early and hard so I have not installed to date. I am going with oem sport lights as soon as it warms up here. (Like May or June) :)

I just received my harness from firefighter 2000. Looks heavy duty and well built. Real nice. I'm also waiting for the snow to disappear and the temperatures to raise to a comfortable level. All work on my truck gets done outside, so I'll wait a while. I was also debating whether to go with the depo headlights or the oem's. After reading the last few threads I think I'll go with the mopars. When I get a chance I'll check out Steve White. He seems to have good prices. I got the GE Nighthawk 9004 bulbs and will pick up the Philips Xtreme power 9007 bulbs when I can find them. My local parts store doesn't carry both brands. Go figure.

JGorman I haven't done any thing yet, but I am going to soon. I read the post and saw the pictures from firefighter 2000 and I like the way he made the harness so that's the I will go on that part. Would like to see more about the difference between OME and after market lights. Thanks every one for your input.

I hope you're not in a hurry for the OEM headlights.

I tried to get a set on Friday from Steve White Motors and MoparAmerica, and heard those dreaded words "on national back order" I was told to check back in a month or two. I don't think there's a mopar dealer in the US with a set in stock. I'm headed to Carlisle PA this Friday and wanted to pick up a set while south of the border, but unfortunately it's not going to happen.

If you can't wait for the OEM's you're only choice is the after market depo brand. Geno's carries them. You can also order direct from headlights depot. Headlights depo offers free shipping offer $5.00. I'm pretty sure the cheapest bulb available is over $5.00. There may be other after market brands available, but I'm just not familar with them.
