GWS,
If you are getting the F14 error, I am curious which manual you used to install the beast.
I did not notice that my kit and the manual for it did not match. Your manual should have told you to only cut one water line.
My manual told me to cut both lines and also had me plumb the flow backwards. I get the F14 error which ESPAR tells me is due to the flow reversal error.
You can download the newer manual from ESPAR who is very helpful with this kind of stuff.
I also discovered that you should see the clock on your ESPAR controller when the engine is on. If not, then your source of switched 12V is bad (as was mine).
Enjoy!
Getting this one for just the low cost of the remote (prize) made it worthwhile. Hopefully it will fit my next truck and on and on and on. .
With my heater turned off, the ESPAR really does cycle. With the heater switch on, the darn thing works it's little heart out.
Sure is nice to sit on a soft seat rather than a frozen cinderblock. Pure luxury with very little 'value added'!!
