HX-50 on Ebay!

Here is my understanding of how the defueling module adds power. The engine PCM actually has a defueling program, that protects the trans by simultanuosly defueling at shift points. The module by passes this protection. Will I grenade the trans bypassing this program. BD advertises it is actually better for the trans. Some claims have been . 5sec dropped from 1\4mile times using this module. Looking for any input from folks using the BD antidefueling module. Merv

Merv,

I have the box on my truck. I haven't heard of any gains of 1/2 second, but my truck did gain almost . 2 from the box.

The box doesn't actually add any power to your truck, it just allows you to use the power your already making, by not allowing the truck to defuel in 1st or 2nd gear.

Maybe I am wrong, but I don't rememebr your truck having the defuleing problem, unless you have you gotten it since you went to twins. I believe that the majority of the trucks that have this are the 2001. 5's. The last time I saw you run at MIR, I didn't see it defuel.
