I'm looking at placing some lights on the front of my truck and prefer a larger diamter light (i. e. larger than 7 inches or so)

I am considering the Hella 700FF, or the Lightforce (which is the largest so far - but also very deep and expensive).

what else is out there? I have to admit that these are mostly for looks - although I can see using them when camping. I don't need race proven HID's for a grand per set!

Thanks in advance and Photos would always be appreciated of your rig with some lights!

Can't go wrong with Piaa. Hella is another that I have used before with good results. However, mine have been used racing and I didn't care how they "looked" as long as I could see.

If you've got the money, I'd definately go with LightForce. I've heard nothing but good about them.

I have a bumper with some 9" ProComps, and they do pretty well... I'd estimate them at 2 -3 times the brightness of the high beam headlamps.

Wow - mean lookin' rig, Eric!

I like the size of the pro-comps... ... but with my lack of patience, I ordered the Hella 700FF lights. They aren't quite as large (I think only 7. 3" diameter)

The lightforce do look great..... maybe I'll see how these go (look) and if I'm dissapointed with the Hellas, I'll put them on my wife's vehicle and get some Lightforce lights for me!

I have a set of lightforce cant remember the name they are approx 7". These are far and away the best lights I have ever owned and over the years I have owned most of the name brands. They have been on the truck for 180k now and they still work great. I have not once had to reaim them once I got them set originally. The mounting/aiming system is fantastic. They have taken some direct rock hits at freeway speeds and suffered no damage. I checked a while back and they had gotten more expensive than when I bought mine several years ago. I would buy them again in a minute.
