Looking for neato shifter knobs

Does anyone know where I can find a pistol grip shifter knob at?? I found them once at a truckstop in Dallas, but have never seen them again. I'd love to find one again.

I have often thought of making a whole new stick that had a few bends in it to bring it closer to the driver and give it a cool look.

Had a 92 dodge 150 gasser that turned 15. 3 in the 1/4 stock and I broke the shifter off twice. welded a 7/8 bolt on the transmission, cut three inches off the stick welded a 7/8 nut on and screwed it down. Also added a t-
handle. still holding.

Not yet. . I need to get a 9/16th for the nut. I was using a 58th and it was just a tich too big.
Plus all my vice grips are rusted out as I left them in the back of the truck... OOPS!! Stupid... I KNEW THAT!!!
I'm going to work on it again tomorrow.

I made my own Stainless Steel shifter from some 7/8" polished tubing used on some of our big truck parts. I used our tube bender to custom fit it to my liking. My transmission is a 98 model that uses a thread on lever instead of the click-on. I use the stock knob. I can post pix if anyone cares or wants one.

It's nothing fancy but works great for me. As you can see, My cheap shift boot is too short but now you can see how the shifter attaches. When I get my new carpets made I'll get a new shift boot made also.
