2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Looking for New WINDSHIELD - HELP !!!

Just cruzing down the road today and CRACK!!! A big split across my windshield.

My question is; does anyone know where to find the best deals on a replacement windshield? I know the "stealers" around here will want an arm & a leg.

Any help will be great... Thanks !!

Call your local auto glass shop, my last 2 were about$150. 00 ea

Front windshields are free if you have any insurance.

There are usually mobile people that will do it at your house.

the cheapest place i have found is a company called safelite and

i believe that they are a nation wide company hope this helps

Safelite put mine in (under my insurance) at absolutely no charge to me. The same day, literally immediately prior to my truck, the same shop did my wife's '99 Stratus also at no charge to us. Nice getting two new windshields and not having to pay anything out of pocket.

Just a note about the windshield: I am not sure of the date but there are 2 windshield that fit our trucks. 94-98? and ?99-02. Make sure that the glass shop doesn't try to use 1 fits all. The location of the VIN on the dash was changed when they redesigned it. The wrong windshield will hide it.
