Looking for Overall Maintenance Manual

Hi! We're relatively new owners of a previously owned '99 3500 Extended Cab (?). It needs a bit of work, like repairs to the windshield washer and coolant overflow tanks/hoses. Being mechanically inclined, we'd like to get an idea of the "how to" & tricks - if any. And we'd just like to have the manaul - just in case...



We've looked at chiltonsonline.com, and they have not published anything for the truck, yet. Any suggestions or alternatives on manuals?

The manual you want is the Dodge service manual. The cheaper aftermarket manuals don't compare. Get it at your Dodge dealer.

The best is the FSM. . factory service manual.

When the truck was bought new, there was a card in the owner's manual or a page that gave you a telephone number to call to order one. They are about 120 bucks... not cheap, but lots of detail and info that chilton doesnt give.



the 99 is "too new" yet for Chiltons to publish a book for yet. I called and I they said that they do wait. . don't remember the # of years they told me. . but they do wait.



Check your owners manual for the truck... see if the number is there. .



I looked in my fsm , which is for all 99 1500 2500 3500 trucks...

Give them a call, with the description of the truck you can buy the fsm.



every once in a while they come up on ebay too.

Check the classified section at the top of the TDR webpage.

Sometimes members will sell their old service manual when they upgrade to a newer model year CTD.
