I know I am new here but let's all calm down a bit. I am currently running Toyo a/t's 325x50x22 (34. 8) on my 05 with 2' leveling kit these are mounted on weld evo velocity wheels. I do not experience any rubbing. Some of you may ask why 22's they are E rated at over 3300 lbs per tire. I have a very close contact with Weld and the offset for these wheels is 4. 5 inches. Can someone tell me what the offset is for the Weld (Kore) wheels. Reason I ask is my buddy at Weld says they are the stock 18 Weld wheels not custom for Kore. He does not know everything Weld does but is usually well informed. If someone knows the offset for Kore's wheels I would like to know.

It is hubcentric for the Dodge Ram and has the same backspace as the Dodge OE wheel, so your wheel-bearings and steering components won’t wear out prematurely and your tires won't stick out of the fenderwells. "



I think it is significantly different than the "standard" 4. 5" backspacing aftermarket wheel. These wheels have somewhere on the order of 6" of backspacing.

His truck is on a little bit of an incline in the pic. That could create the illusion that the bed is lower than the front. I was told by Kent that for my '03 longbed that the front would be lifted 2. 25" and the rear would go up an inch. I was then told by Greg that if I get the heavy duty diesel coils as opposed to the regular diesel coils, that the front of a long bed would get the same amount of lift as a short bed with the standard diesel coils. I guess there's a little more weight on the front of a long bed as a result of the greater distance between the axles. As a result, if you want to keep the rear higher and you have a long bed, I'd go with the standard diesel coils.
 
That is just what we have figured out by parking my truck next to Kents. His truck sits a little higher in the front than my truck does. Our guess is that the front of the long bed is a little longer and the front sits lower.

ONE THING:



The Banks truck that was on Xtreme 4x4 has 37x13. 50x20 and it looks like it clears them just as much as JClearly's truck w/ 35's. What gives???

I have the xtreme 4x4 episode on DVR and I've watched it about 5 times. In the beginning of the episode on the suspension, they say that they trimmed the fenders to make the 35's fit. They used a 37" tire in the gearing example on the blackboard and to demonstrate the large tire/small tire difference. I guess it made more of a difference and was more dramatic.

I haven't posted any pictures yet, too new. But I'll try to get some this weekend.



My truck was raised about 2-inches or so in front. Maybe 1 to 1-1/4 inch in the rear. It was tough to get exact measurements - I did the install in the driveway, and was never sure my ride height measurements were accurate due to the uneveness of my pavement.



I do like the ride, though.

I'd be willing to bet that any of you will like it too.

Do you have Pace, Chase, or Race?

Can anyone that has ridden in trucks that have Pace and Chase tell me the difference in ride? Is the Chase worth $1300 more? I like to think of it as pennies a day over the life of the truck, but I want to make sure there is a significant difference.
 
Spooled-Up, that would depend on your driving style and use of the truck. The springs are the same from one to the next, so it's a matter of where you drive mostly. All highway and occasional off-road, the PACE is suited for that. Any off-road at speed, go CHASE no question. But, the entire PACE system is guaranteed for life.



Lightman300, it will be perfect, you will like the look, as it will be almost exactly level. Just did 2 of them, and BlakeU has a topper on his, the other 05 had nothing on the bed, and they looked identical.



Like Greg said, the LB trucks sit a little lower in the front then the shortbeds. I have the extra 300lb up front and with the heaviest springs, I have a slight rake, but I also run pretty low pressures on my MTR's which makes it loook more nose down.

Question for Greg, Fred, or Kent

I'm trying to decide on which system to get. I use my longbed 2500 almost exclusively on the street. Never sees offroad except for a short distance to unload dirt bikes. I do long distance highway travel usually through PA on the turnpike with expansion joints. In the not-so-distant future, I may be getting a toyhauler that might weigh around 13000 lbs.

My question is, would I be happier with the Chase system for the long distance stuff, or does it ride comparably to the Pace system.



Also, from the FAQ section on the Kore website:



" Depending on how you choose to use our optional rear mini-paks, your GVWR may be slightly affected,"



What are the different ways to use the mini-paks, and by how much might my GVWR be affected.

I'll shoot ya a PM w/my address. Whenever ya get around to it works fine. The KORE is awesome. Can't wait to drive the truck back to WA this summer to test it out on the farm. I'm sure it'll eat it up.

I am also very interested in the different set-ups with the mini-paks. I just have the front coils now and the truck is totally level, but I would like a little of the rake I lost back, while keeping the height i gained in the front. I also wouldn't want the mini-paks if they're going to sag when I put a little weight in the back.
