stacks

had a previous diesel that i put two stacks on and regretted it from the day of completion. The main problem was on the mornings that you started it up, especially when it rained, it poured out black soot all over the bed, top and fender wells. I tried to put in a drain hole to relieve the condensation, but that did not work. I would suggest that you rethink this, even though they look cool, thats about it.

I have a 03 with a short box. I installed a single 7" Miter stack on the passenger side. It's in the dealer, and I will pick it up tomorrow. I will then post the pick.

I've got turn-outs on mine. Pictures in my gallery. Never had a drop of water come out or soot the truck. Gotta' love turn-outs. This truck is never going back to standard pipes!

here are some pics of my stacks! i also have a problem with the soot after rain, but i am in the process of getting flappers so i dont have to worry about it. i will never own another white dodge without stacks, even if it looks like a dalmation! :-laf

Stacks

Here is the pic of my 7" single Miter. It has a rather loud echo when driving down the road. Then again do I care what people think about the noise? NO. It's a diesel. :-laf :-laf :-laf

owesome stacks men

thanks to all that posted . I like the look of the midered stacks but don't like the soot fallout , so mine will be turn outs. I dont care for flappers.

Try the local class 8 truck dealer for some take off stacks, sometimes you can get the top 5 foot for 30 bucks a side, or 50 for both.
