Cant remember the name exactly but it is something Lawrence (sp) maybe RH. There was some talk about them awhile back on here a search might produce something. Other wise just call a few local auto glass shops they should know. If I recall they may be the only manufacturer. Thinking they are 4 or 5 bills. Would be nice to have one.

I think the company you are thinking if is CRL or C. R. Laurence Co. Inc. They are located in California. I don't believe they sell direct, you must purchase from an Authorized Dealer, which we are,but too far away from you. The part number for 94-97's is EPC904S for standard cabs, and EPC944S for club cabs. They are dark tinted, curved glass with silk screened edges. Very, very nice unit, everything is top quality.

You can call toll free1-800-421-6144 and they should be able to locate a dealer for you,and give you more info if you want. They also have a website at :

www.crlaurence.com

I think there are other companies who sell this product, but I believe they are all made by CRL and rebadeged as something else.

Dave Smith Motors

Dave Smith Motors offered it on my 99 as a dealer installed otpion. They also would install Power Vision Mirrors. The Power Rear Window option was over $500 if memory has not faded completely. I decided that the kids could operate the slider for me :D

At first I didn't like my slider. I have since found out I can open it and hook up the gooseneck after dark a lot easier. My windows are pretty dark. Helps with the Texas sun.

powr-slider

best i can tell, there is indeed only one manufacturer of electric sliders. has anyone found asource for power opening and closing of the quarter panel windows in the quad doors?? chrysler vans have power rear wincows on some models. i wonder if there would be a way to use that mechanism?

More information

I was going through my peacup folder and ran across the accessory catalog that Dave Smith sent with their quote and it had the Power Slider listed as pn: 43322, Cost $460, Labor $90 - This was in late 1998. They might still carry them if your interested.
