2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Looking for replacement mirrors

Anyone know if the glass can be replaced in the power heated mirrors, and if so where where to find? I've been up and down E-bay but no luck. I've been tempted with some fold out tow mirrors but they are manual and I really don't want to lose the power or $190. Thanks for any help.



BTW is it just me or does the search forum not work very well? I always check first before asking questions but never seem to get any "matches"#@$%!

I would think a glass shop could replace the actual mirror part. LMC Truck also has complete replacements.

I agree with Davcruz. Unless you need some sort of special glass, a glass shop should be able to make a template of the old mirror, and cut a new one. I've done this before, and stuck the new mirror on with a wad of silicon.

Cummins Thunder I've seen those on ebay. I also found the long running thread about them a few pages back. Most seem pretty happy with them. Those are on my wish list. My truck came with clip on tow mirrors that work alright. Right now Just looking for a cheap fix.
