Does anyone know of a good source for 215HP stock injector nozzels.

I have ddII injectors and I am trying to troubleshoot fuel mileage issues. I dont want to spend a ton of money for new stock injectors just to find no change and put my DDII's back in.

if your looking for used, it may take a while. i scanned the diesel sites and ebay for about 3 months before i found a set at a reasonable price [used]. this being said, i stumbled across a guy who advertises on ebay. he has just the new bosch 215 nozzle's for around the 200. 00/250. 00 ish mark. i say ish, because he is open to offers. another place i bought from 2 weeks back was diesel care and perfomance, also on ebay. i bought a set of rebuilt bosch 215's from him for 200. 00 + core charge. i upgraded the 160hp engine in my gmc, i'am pleased with the change. do a google for quickest result. also, who ever you deal with, specify bosch 215 nozzle's. you will be suprised what some folks will try to sell you over the computer.

thanks for the response. I have been looking on ebay and all I can find is upgraded nozzles. But I am still searching daily. I need to fill my tank again today and it only has 338 miles on it.

I'm running DDP II's, #10, etc. Last fill up 19. 8 mpg. 860 miles before the low fuel light flickered. Before you say "GEE WHIZ, GOLLY, AND NO WAY", I have a 54 gal tank. Still had 11 gallons +-.

That must be nice. my light came on today at 327 miles. I was well below the empty mark at 380 miles and $75 didn't come close to filling it.

I'm thinking the injectors are not the root cause of poor mileage. Don't think mine dropped any with the new ones. Guess it depends a lot on how different trucks are set up. I have mine now where there is minimal smoke where as when I started it would leave a heck of a cloud without really trying.

I also have a set of almost new, low mileage PDR 215's. I know that makes them used, but very slightly. Don't really want to get rid of them, and if I decided to it would have to be for almost full price. Not really what you are asking for.

I don't think it is the injectors either but I have changed turbos, cam shaft, lift pump, overflow valve, timming, AFC springs, fuel plate, 4 different additives, synthetic fluid in everything, valve lash, torque converter, TPS, removed cat, new exhaust manifold and had the current injectors freshened up. I started with 12mpg on the highway and I still have 12mpg on the highway. If I am lucky I can get 400 miles out of a tank of fuel. Mileage is the same in town, on the highway, empty or with my 4200# 5th wheel. I am totally frustrated at this point thus wanting to try the stock injectors. I am running out of things to try
