I have a friend who has the money to spend bombing his truck. I will help him with the gauges but most of my experience has been with 12 valves. I am looking for someone in my area who could let my try an EZ for a day so I can sell him on it. He is looking for more towing and all around better performance. Also, do you think we should go for a fuel pressure gauge while we are at it? He doesn't want to clutter up his truck, but I don't want to grenade his inj. pump either. Thanks, Jeremy.

Definitely get a fuel pressure gauge... . the LP is a timebomb stock. Adding the EZ just makes it worse since you are pushing the engine harder.

What year model is his truck? I've got a friend who just sold his '99 and has an EZ that he might not have sold yet.

The EZ is the best Mild bombs you can do but I agree that you need a Fuel pressure Gauge to monitor it.

The EZ will add about 65 HP and it has better off the line performance, less lag on acceleration... .

I have that and a 4 wire Blue chip box which is a fueling box that makes 100 Hp... .

It is a 99 3500. I think he would be interested in a used box if it were available. Does your buddy still have his for sale? Also what type of FP Gauge? Mech versus Elec. ? And where have yall mounted them? Thanks again!

I have a 3-gage setup in my truck. I have some OK pics in my member's rigs section to check out. I have DiPricol gages... . EGT, Boost, and Fuel Pressure in that order from top to bottom on my a-pillar. DEFINATELY get the fuel pressure gage. I have a DiabloSport Power Puck in my truck. Advertised gains are 65hp and 200#'s torque. In retrospect I probably would have gone with the EZ, but I did like the fact that my Puck can be custom tuned by me. I can order the software and wires and make my own fueling programs as I want it on my home computer. The day I installed my Puck, I pulled out and was immediately impressed with the difference. It's like night and day. Tons more low-end and mid range power. Towing is totally awesome. I've hauled 8,000#'s of concrete block and trailer and the truck flat out pulled. For towing I think the 65hp mod is a good start.

Just my $0. 02.
