I have thought about that also, just order the fenders and convert my 04. 5 short bed quad cab to a dually!!!! That would be a little more unique

I think if you just ordered the fenders, it'll stick out forward of your box and partially coved your rear door. It's about 45" from the center of the tire to the front of the fender. Measure carefully.

I think they mean using whatever fenders Dodge puts on the Mega dually... those would fit any other shortbox, even a 1500.

Saw one at the dealer last week and l did like the back seat room but... . I NEVER RIDE THERE! so who cares! The dash looks like cheap plastic with peal and stick woodgrain shelf paper stuck to it with tiny cup holders on the floor. All the salesman could say is "arn't these seats just great?". Im NOT impressed at the looks and at the price tag. If Dodge would have made the front doors bigger by not using the 03-05 doors, then they could have not had that ultra UGLY blind spot behind the rear doors. I still say, if I get rid of my 04. 5 Quad cab, Im buying a Ford or Chevy with a Full back seat and no blind spots with a full 8' bed. Just my 3. 5 cents :-laf :-laf
