That not a standard shortbed, i do believe it's 6" shorter than a normal shortbed.

IMO it's useless, and if it was any uglier it would need an "AVALANCHE" emblem on the side.

Should call DC and ask them where to mount the 5th wheel hitch in my MC dually (No I don't have one). They will probably reply with something like... "We are currently designing one that mounts on the tailgate to avoid your trailer from hitting the cab of your truck".

It is a standard length shortbed. My bedcap came off my 04 QC SWB and onto my 06 MC.
