lOOSE BRAKE PEDAL

Ok guy's I have a question for anybody that can help me with this I have a 08 2500 with the adjustable pedal's well it got to the point where I could move the pedal side to side by about 2 inches each way. So I take it to the dealer and told the service rep that I know there is a recall on the 09's but my 08 is having the same problem . anyway I get a call this afternoon telling me that it's not covered under a defect but it will be covered under my Warr. but I have to pay $100. 00 Deductable . My question is how do I go about Fighting it and making Dodge own up to there screw/up and not mine ?

Contact Chrysler direct, tell them about your problem, they may authorize the fix. If they give you the run around, tell them you are going to report it to the feds. If they still give you the run around - then, report it to the feds.

my 06 has the same problem, i've just learned to deal wih it until i can come up with a cheap solution

Hey CD I went ahead and got my truck back and paid for the repair so now I can fight

It was probably a good idea to have fixed it, safety should be #1 over all else. Problem is, Chrysler is getting away with the safety issue on ALL the trucks that may have the problem or may not YET. They really need to be poked into recalls because they have no conscious and no customer loyalty. Too bad about their lack of customer loyalty, it will lead to less and less people being loyal to them, sink their own boat.

Well we will see how far I get with them today as I am going to call and complain the truck is less then 3 yr's old yes it has 68,000 miles but the brake pedal assy should not go out that fast look at the first or even second gen truck's they never had any problem's ?

I only had a 100. 00 dollar deductable but the main thing I am going to try and make to Chrysler is this Should not of worn out so quickly and I will Never get adjustable pedal's again
