As i was driving home from work the other day, i hit a bump and noticed it shut the engine off for acouple seconds, as well as the radio. I have checked all obvious wires, terminals, grounds. I even left it running and jiggled the wiring harnous and steering column but of course it wouldnt do it. It is only when i go over bumps, the gauges all stay up though like its only loosing power to the engine? what do you guys think?

Also since i installed my 3200 gs, my truck idles and runs fine, untill high rpm, it doesnt like to come back down to fast. ? Any info would be appreciated

I know this sounds goofy, but how many keys do you have on the ring? Have you tried wiggling the ignition switch? I have had too many keys bounce the switch just right if the switch was really worn.

Is the battery held down tightly? I also had a battery bounce up and short on the hood. I didn't figure that one out until it got stuck on the lip of the battery tray (old Dodge Station Wagon), in contact with the hood. The smoke pouring out from under the hood as the battery melted was a real adrenaline rush.

That happened on my 93 a few times, its no fun on the freeway in traffic, but usually it fired back up soon enough not to have to pull over.

It turned out to be the wire connection at the ksb solenoid. I replaced the spade terminal with an o-ring terminal tightened securely to the stud on the solenoid.
