2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Loose mirrors

A friend of mine has just bought a 97 1-ton. He says it is in really good condition except that the side mirrors are loose. They will move in while going down the road. They are the chrome mirrors. I believe he will have to take the door panel off, but I'm not really sure. I had a 95 one ton but that has been to long ago and I never had that problem. Can anyone give some help on this problem.

This will fix a loose mirror due to the shaft loosening up which holds the swing arm on the mirror body. There are other fixes if the mirror glass itself is loose.
