My brother has a 98 3/4 4x4 truck with about 180,000 miles on it and the steering is really loose on the truck. Whenever we purchased it the previous person replaced the 2 tubular on the very front underneath the bumper. What are those called??? Also what should I do about the sloppy steering?? Which kit is the best?? Thanks for the help

They are called tierods they attach to the hub assembly There is also A problem with the trac bar this runs from the axel to the frame to see if it is bad stand in front of the truck at one corner and look down past the bumper to a spot on the ground and have someone else turn the steering wheel 2 turns left and right if the trac bar is bad you will see the bumper move in each direction hope this helps
