Loose ... window??!

Yep, like it says, I think the window glass on the drivers side is "loose". If I shut it all the way, no big deal, but if I crack it just a bit or go down to as far as 3/4 open, if I hit a bump, the window "whaps" against the door frame. I know thats what it is, because if I prop something between the glass and the inner door, it stops doing it. Any explanations/solutions?



Can I "tighten" the glass, like move it closer to the door so it sits closer?

There's a thin tray that the glass sits in inside the door. It's what supports the glass as you open and close the window. Sounds like the glass may have come loose from that tray. The only way to check it is to pop the interior trim off of the door and have a look.
