If i let the truck sit for two to three days i loose prime. i have to hand pump the fuel back into the lines to start without cranking the batteries to death. I looked at the lift pump from under the vehicle and did not see any weapage at all. Any ideas? Is there a way to find the leak? I assume air is leaking into the system and when it sits for an extended time the fuel drains back out of the lines.

96 2500 extended cab full bed with a cap and running boards. 100% Amsoil with bypass oil filter. Everything else stock except bypassing the RWAL (rear wheel antiloc) operation so the truck will now stop when i hit the breaks without turning my hair white.

I had a leaking fuel return line that behaved like this. It was right behind the cab. The overflow valve on the pump will also cause loose of prime. I also had an injector line viberate loose on an injector but it never gave me any problems because I caught when it was getting damp by the line. Hope his helps.

If you haven't replaced your fuel return line, now might be the time. Mine did this at first. No fuel weeping, but I did lose prime. Within a week I was leaking fuel.

Fuel return line, return fuel valve and
fuel drain valve on fuel filter check them all.
Fuel return line would be my first guess.

How you doing BadAndy?
My truck was leaking too. I didnt have to prime it, but it seldom sat that long.
It was missing pretty badly for the first 1/2 mile or so.
Mine was the fuel return line like Tim mentioned. Took an hour or two, and a dollar to fix.
