Im with Mr. GAmes right around freezing is good enough. Its NOT going to stay there, its supposed to get in the 50's on Christmas Eve. PERFECT for riding the 5 ATV's that Grandpa's buddy is bring in on his sleigh tonight.

This is not the winter type weather that I remember as a kid! My wife and I would like some snow and colder temps this time of the year. None of this +50 deg temps that they are forecasting until Saturday or Sunday of this week! I am just saying I like the four seasons and Winter!

But there is always hope! In 1982 we had a Christmas day time high of 64F, the next year it was a minus -5F for the day!

We had that snow episode last week its remnants are still on the ground in the shaded areas. Its not going to last long we'll have more below temps soon enough. People put an enormous amount of thought into the weather here in Indiana, guess thats part of living in an agricultural area. Personally I check the weather when I open the door stick my head out and choose Coat or Not?? On several occasions last winter the only time I ventured outdoors was to toss some wood into the wood-boiler then back inside to the reloading bench to prepare for a better temps to tickle the trigger on the Grandchildren's newest "EVIL BACK RIFLE" and their reloading bench for more instruction on reloading.

For all of you missing the cold.....it just warmed up to -9 last night here in Fairbanks and the weather man has the sights squarely on -45 by next Saturday. Just come on up, plenty of cold to go around!

I don't know about today, but the various clubs/regions operated the groomers, and it was volunteers. We always had a big wave and thank you thumbs up when we passed a groomer!

Mike, do you still have snow on the ground?

Jill and I have spent the last couple of weeks cleaning up the yard and getting ready for spring and summer. Have already cut the grass once and I am going to cut today. I refuse to do any yard work on the weekends, only work outside Monday thru Friday usually I am done by 12:00 noon on Friday if I am still working in the yard.

This is a strange year though I would have already made one Glamping trip and would have planned out all of our trips. So, far this year we have only planned one trip and that is to Asheville NC in Sept but that maybe cancelled also depending on what happens!

Wish IN would use a machine that cuts as nice as that. INDOT uses some kind of a mower like a Flail Mower it SHREDS the trees making them look like a tornado went through, of course it doesn't take long before it can't be seen everything grows so fast here.
