Well I had the ABS light come on the other day and I replace the rear ABS sensor today (58. 50) which mine is the one different one that hardly anyone uses. The other ABS sensor was 31. 00, well now the abs light is still on? Could my PCM be bad? I cant and dont know how to check for ABS codes, No one has been able to tell me. Does anyone know if the PCM is bad will the A/C and cruise still work? I am all ready out of 90 bucks so far and still have not found anything. I check all the fuses, adjusted the rear brakes, checked the plugs and wires, even unpluged the abs computer then the light went out. But when I plugged it back in it was right back on.

If I do the key on key off deal it shows 12345 12345 so I guess that is 5 5, it flashes 5 times each and then quits flashing. What does that mean?

I am disappointed and at aloss!

Please Help!

The abs is not working, I slide this sucker sideways at 60 mph and it smoke the 4 rear tires like a nascar.

Now back to the abs, I can not check the pins to see if it has fire or grounds because I dont have a pinout showing me which ones should have ground and fire?

The Check engine light NEVER goes thru a check, When I turn on the switch the light comes on at the same time and DOES NOT BLINK and does not check itself. It is just a steady burn!!! SO I guess it is doing no self test!

If I unplug the abs computer light goes out...

HELP!!!!!

Instead of guessing and throwing money away, buy a code reader and a factory service manual. Great investment ;)

Well, lets see

I was so mad at this truck and this ABS problem that I went to trade it and about ***** when I seen the prices of the new cummins, I am already a hater of all the new electronics so I quickly said no way!!!

I posted about this ABS problem and I got some really good ideas but no one hit it right. I found the problem today and now the truck is fixed!!! I said it is FIXED!!!!

I spent 11 hours going thru the brake system from front to rear and I have checked all vaccum lines, wires,sensors,valves... ect... . well it ended up being the "Vaccum sensor" beside the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side. I did not have a qlue to what it was or did. I just knew my ABS light stayed on. I have replaced that and Now see is like new again!!!!

I love my truck and will keep it forever!!!!!

thanks Guys!
