I installed a tst on my 04 dodge six speed this summer, and lately i have noticed that if i turn my chip up any higher then 4 once my boost hits 40 psi my truck feels like it loses power. When it happens the engine almost sounds like it is missing, then my boost will drop to 35 and i get my power back. I have noticed that if i slowly build the boost up it doesn't happen near as bad. My first thought was that i was running out of fuel so i installed a FASS fuel system but i still have the same problem, so now i have no idea what it could be. Has anyone else had this same problem or have any idea what it could be.

Thanks,

Dan

40 is pretty high is it not? Does the unit have a backoff like my Juice does?

Edge recommends setting the backoff at 35, maybe TST has a default set at 35 and that's why your power returns.

Maybe?

losin power

Unless you are reaching the temp limit on the digital R47 readout, it is almost for sure the waste gate is opening and then closing as the pressure drops. 40 psi is probably going to be destructive to the turbo and you are probably considerably above the 1400 egt limit. TST PMCR is designed to open the waste gate at about 35psi.
