Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) losing power

i have a 01 4x4 auto with blue chip apb box. it will lose power and only go about 35 mph from time to time { you never know when) i have sent the box back and it still does the same thing. i can unhook the blue chip and it will never do it. can any one tell me what is wrong..... as the truck is very dangerous to drive. i had to pull off the road tonight as i was passing a 18 wheeler and it lost all the power while meeting a car... . scary and wife is mad now

only 10 pounds of boost 12 to 13 fuel pressure when it happens

Only a guess, but check the pin connections very carefully for loose or dirty terminals. Thie box can momentarily stop talking to the E. C. M & fuel pump and all kinds of wierd stuff can happen. If you unplug the box and it works fine then it must be the connections or the program itself. Hope this helps .

If you cannot replicate the problem with your box disconnected and the manufacturer says there is nothing wrong with box (software is a funny thing) and your connections are good I would get a different companies box.
