It turned out to be that blankety blank VP44. 2nd one in less than 2 years. I put a

FASS system on it a while back, and it felt like it cured it for a month or so. But my daughter was driving it the first time it acted up and it didn't act up again for me for at least a month or so. Soon after that is when I put the FASS on. Now the only lift pump this VP44 has had is a FASS. And it runs like a top now. After looking at some of these other threads about the module in the tank, I do believe that is next in line.

'99 QC 4x4 ATS transmission, tc, & commander edge ez, 4" exh. , afe. and FASS.

Did your truck just seem to drop back to just above idle? Like it was getting fuel just not enough? I just replaced my vp last April and now I'm having issues. When driving at 60ish it just drops out. If I let off to idle it comes right back. It used to ONLY do it when I was below a 1/4 tank of fuel but seems to be doing it more now. I still use a stock replacement of my LP. Was considering a FASS. I checked that by lp was working. I pulled the plug out and manually ran the lp (with i wire i rigged up) and got pleanty of fuel. Then this morning I had NO issue. I'm wondering if i just had the plug too loose and it was sucking in a bit of air.

Any info would be great. If this is the same problem.
