All of a sudden my truck started shifting strange that's what I first noticed, all the shifts were delayed but still very firm. Then watching the boost gauge :( it was like slow motion, the truck struggled just to get to 15 psi. boost, then I noticed there was barely any smoke. I typically drive with comp box on 2x3 and since the PDR HX 40 this setting now drops some good smoke, that was gone, I was completely puzzled.

I called Bill Kondalay about the transmission, talked with my local guys, brainstormed . I even thought it was the comp box, checked the pump wire connection etc. all was good. Then I thought about exactly what was happening, it was like driving with a throttle stop , at a certain pedal position typically i'd probably be going 60 mph, now I was going 40mph then I thought of the T. P. S well guess what was connected inline with my throttle sensor... . my practical solutions high idler, the knob accidentally got turned on , not enough to idle the truck up , just enough to completely throw all the settings off, shifts, fuel, boost and as a result power.

Took me a couple days to figure this one out hopefully if anyone else has these signs of low power etc. and runs this high idler , just make sure it's off while you're driving:rolleyes:

Wayne, I did the same thing last Friday, Forgot to turn it off past the stop where you feel it click, truck wouldn't hardly make it off the parking lot. You sure know something's wrong don't you. Don
