I keep reading about sliding the AFC forward or back but mine has very little movement. Does a small movement make that much difference? I pressure tested the boost system and found the intercooler leaking. I think only in 1 spot, will no more when I get it out. Does anyone know how to move this post to the 12 valve engine forum? No need to be here any more. Thanks for everyone's help. I'll post my results when I get that leak fixed.
Thanks for all of your input. The problem ended up being a broken retaining ring inside my BD Exhaust brake. The brake was stuck about 70% closed. The retaining ring is no longer available from BD, but they do have a redesigned canister that will bolt in. I repaired mine myself and will see how it holds up. Great to have the power and low EGT's back. Thanks again for any input that was given.
