I have an 02 quad cab 4X4 that is almost stock.

I had an EZ box installed a couple of months ago. I love it.

When I first had the box installed, I found I could spin the tires (I had brand new Goodrich traction tires on the beasty, and I could still spin them) Only did it a couple of times, didnt want to damage the truck or use up the tires prematurely.

I havent been driving the truck very much. But I think Ive noticed that the power I had before isnt there quite as much. It certainly could be that Im just used to the power now. But just to test, when I try to spin the tires, it isnt happening.

When the EZ box was installed, they said my fuel pump was in specs, but at the lower end. If the pump is going south on me, can that result in lower power ? I think Ive heard that there is no difference in performance when the pump goes out. Only that it will take out the injector pump.

Any thoughts or ideas ?

power

Check your lift pump pressure. 15 psi at idle and no less than 8 psi at w. o. t. Cycle ignition switch three times and leave on to see if there is any codes in computer. The cheapest vp 44 that i found was 1300. 00. Check it before it causes problems

Try unplugging the EZ and then plug it back in. I noticed, ever now and then, that my EZ is not working (power wise) and by doing the aforementioned it starts working.

I probably should send my EZ back to be checked out by Edge?
