Archived lost brakes

lost brakes on a 2000 quad cab 4 wheel drive cummins looke dunderneath line is leaking beside rear of fuel tank the part that has the lever to the rear end looks in bad shape the lines leading to it are all scaley where is the best place to source these parts from and would it be advisable to splice the line under the floor area line looks good should i just do it all together :{

You can get the line like it came with at NAPA and some other auto parts places. There is also some one on here who supplies or knows where to get stainless line and fittings. I would replace it all the way from the ABS if you can get to it. A lot of failures occur between the frame and the fuel tank. The original has lasted 9 years, unless you are going to keep the truck a long time the SS line may not be cost effective. bg
