:( Recently lost my cruise control. Have replaced stop/brake light switch and surveyed the vaccum hoses around the actuator, they seemed fine. Can anyone tell me other possibilities/ Thanks to you all, your the best. Rattle On!!

One input to the pcm for the cruise is the engine speed sensor. Check to see that our tach is working ok. This checks the speed sensor.

You said you checked the vacuum hoses, mine had a leak where it went under the battery tray. Check by pulling the hose off of the vacuum manifold and sucking on the end. It should be tight.

Just in case you hadn't yet - check your vacuum pump. the check valve can hang up and you lose vacuum - you will also lose 4X4 axle engagement and (easiest to check) your H/AC damper control.

My cruise control quit 3 weeks before the warranty went out. I took it to the dealer and they re-programmed the computer and said all was well - not!

Sometimes if you disconnect the batteries the cruise will reprogram itself. In my case the servo was bad and after replacement with a new one all has been fine for the last 4 years.

cruse out twice

Had mind go out twice and both times it was due to acid leaking thru the drivers side battery temp sensor below the battery and eating the hose at the servo. Very hard to see without removing everything so the second time I relocated the servo to the fender side of the vacuum brake booster.
