Installed a new fuel filter (one of the new ones from Amsoil) and ran up to Boulder Co with a tank of B20. The temp dropped to below freezing at night and I noticed it took a while to for the intank pump to build pressure when starting then the next day I started loosing pressure when accelerating. I changed the fuel filter to a Napa gold and added a half tank of regular diesel. And the problem went away . So I'm thinking maybe the fuel gelling or the newer filters are too restrictive for the 02s?

I was thinking the same. However the cold temps were only at night during the day it was in the 40 to 50s. That's why I then figured the fuel filter. I removed it (a Donaldson from Amsoil) went to a Napa Gold and presto OK. So did the filter stay clogged with gelled fuel - it looked clean?

I guess you can only assume the filter was clogged even if it looked clean. Having never had a gelling problem myself I cannot say if you can see it in the filter or not. Others have on here, can answer you on that for sure, because I have heard them talk about it. They should be chiming in soon.
