When I bought my 3500 it has some nice mud flaps with a stainless steel panel attached. Well, I lost one of mine this weekend I'd like to replace it or both of them. Poor truck looks neck'd with it's rear duals showing. Does anyone know where I can get replacements? I'd also like to replace the stainless steel trim that is on top of the tail gate.

I'm a gonna have to try lookin round those places too. Flaps been a lotta grief for me. Big enough to do any good and low enough to really stop stuff. . . I either back mine onto something and tear one off. If it ain't that then it's entering a freeway round Dallas/Ft Worth, barracades on my right, lookin for my hole to get into flow without impeding traffic. Cars behind me so I didn't dare stop. Low and behold someone had dropped a full blown pallet smack dab in the accelleration lane. Grit your teeth, grap the wheel, stomp the go pedal and hang on for the ride. Lucky me. . . mostly pine slats. Splattered and splintered slats everywhere. Wedged tween the running board joints. One of the 4 bi's took out my right flap. Lucky me. . . no truck tires nor trailer tires blowed out. But those following me scrambled ever which way. . . can't imagine what they thought. They couldn't see it till my trailer passed over it. For what it was I figure I got off cheap just losing a flap. Hate it when the best option is to drive through the problem. Be careful out there, you just never know.

Cheers,

Steve J
