After replacing turbo, injectors and fuel pump lost power and top speed.

Checked timing etc every thing OK except found was not getting full throttle travel, lacked about 3/16" from wide open stop. Adjusted throttle cable(had to add a little piece of tubing to cable to shorten it) now runs like a scalded dog.

Over time the throttle pedal linkage and bracketry in the 1st gen's slowly fatigues and bends a little bit, and you lose travel.



One way to temporarily fix it, is to just reach down and yank upward on the bar the rocker bar the pedal itself is mounted to. You've got to exert at least 50 lbs pull on it to move it, but it seems to stay for quite some time after you do it.
