Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lost reverse & OD

Went to backout of the store today and no reverse. Motor would only rev, nothing there. Shut it off restarted and still no reverse. Got help pulling it out of the stall and drove home, but no OD. Any Ideas? It's a full built Goerend with 68,465 miles on the rebuild. DWest

I am assuming a NV4500, your post and signature didn't make it clear to me. I was speaking with a mechanic who said that sometimes when the 5th gear nut goes out, it also takes out reverse.

Well, sorry I can't be of any help, I have no experience with them. You could call the rebuild shop and see what they can do for you.
