Lotek A-Pillar Gauge Mount With Tweeter

I think its great that you are willing to run with this. Please let us know whats happening. Do they have a stock pillar yet?

I'll also take a 2 mount . . No tweeter... ( I like the looks of the COMBO gauge that shows both EGT and Boost... )
Add a transmission temp in and ready to go!!

Whatever they call the color that came with the SLT cloth package in 98. 5. .

Lets keep up on this... . (I HATE painting). .
AND I don't like the idea of screwing genos mount onto the existing pillar. .

OK guys -- I'm looking for the A-Pillars to send them, so remain calm. I am hoping to find them in a salvage yard so I don't have to pay the price of new. Remember, I need to send one each -- with and without the tweeter. If anyone out there knows of a wrecked Ram, let me know via email.

There is no need to place your virtual orders here on this post. I will update you with progress when it happens. Please understand that even though I am going after this now, that I am doing this in my spare time and that it will take sometime for Lotek to produce a prototype and to then gear up for the production runs. I am hoping that maybe we can have them available in ~2 months. That may be too aggressive, but we'll see.

I hope to have the A-Pillars located and shipped by the first of next week. Sooner, depending on availability.

I have an email request out to Lotek on the topic.

Update -- no used A pillars to be found within 100 miles, so I ordered two new ones from Dodge. One with and one without the tweeter. In contact with Lyle from Lotek and once he gets the A-pillars we can move forward. They will be factory matching colors and texture. The mounting may or may not be as factory -- he needs to look at the ones I send first.

Still waiting for the new ones to come in, so I can ship them to Lotek. They have promised them for tomorrow or Friday. Get this, the ones with out tweeter from Dodge are ~$35. The ones w/ are ~$140. Unreal!

Rob, we sure appreciate your trouble on this crusade, holler if I can help. That is incredible, $35. without the tweeter and $140 with it, can we order it with the provision for the tweeter but without the speaker? Maybe the speaker is molded to it and cannot be removed?? I wonder who the wizard was that came up with that one. Anyway, count me in for a two holer with the tweeter "provision". Thanks

The parts counter guy swore that that is without the tweeter, just the molded a-pillar. The plan is to have the replacement ones made to go over the tweeter, or to hold the stock tweeter, but I will have to wait until it comes in, to see what it is like. ??

Rob, in the design ask them to keep the gauge pods in as tight as possible for head protection in a crash. Also, rather than coming straight out like all the ones I've seen (mine is from TST), have them come down more so that when you are seated they sit in front of the a-pillar completely and don't block any view out the windows. It's hard to put into words, I could sketch it out and send it if it doesn't make sense. All the gauge pods I have seen intrude into the windshield and it would be nice to not have anything in the way.
