Alright, I have some what I'm afraid are serious problems with my truck. The truck is idling very rough and is emitting a blue smoke. I have these codes

P0647

P0643

P2509

P0113

P0237

P0336

I see the 647, and 336 code frequently, but don't know what the others are. Any help would be great, or tell me where to look.

Corey

Here's what I have for your codes:

P0647 A/C Clutch Relay Circuit High

P0633 SKIM Key Not Programmed in PCM

P2509 ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent

P0113 Intake Air / Charge Temperature Sensor High

P0237 Turbocharger Boost Pressure Sensor Low

P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor Performance

I don't have the PMCR connected currently, so I don't think that is the case. I was wondering if the CP3 could be failing?? The blue smoke is what really scares me. The truck acts like it is only running on 5cylinders, but I haven't taken it to my dealer which it looks like is my next step.

Well I just got back from Dodge, pulled the Valve cover, and one of the Ex. valves on the #1 piston is sticking up 1/8th of an inch higher than the other. Something caused this valve to push up through the seat, but I don't know what. The head is coming off and is going to be re-seated and a new valve, but what causes this???

Hopefully my engine builder will warranty this since the motor only has 3000 babied break-in miles since the rebuild.

I'll keep you posted.

Corey

I had a truck do this and the injector stuck in full fuel and cylinder temps got so hot melted piston and sunk valves into head. It also smoked and missed.

My 03 did just this same thing..... I would order a heavier valve train and springs while the head was off. I think enterprise engine has these along with some others.

I don't think the heavier valve train would help. This happened while I was still breaking in the new motor. I have not pulled anything yet, nor have I run the truck hard. I will call enterprise engine tomorrow and see what they recommend.

Thanks

Corey
