luckily, they were able to just put new electronics on it, saved a lot of money doing it that way. . i cant remember if it did throw codes or not...

You've mentioned LP relay... . have you tried a NEW relay? They do go bad. Remove the relay & break it open to note corrosion on the contact surfaces. Also, I had an intermittent problem w/my LP and after much head scratchin' found the pin connector at the cowl had worked loose. (attached under the cowl just above the fuel filter) Seems the white connector lock had unlocked allowing the connector to work loose.

Also a loose injector line could prevent sufficient pressure to "crack open" the injector causing a rough idle/run. Are you noticing any leaking at the injector lines?

i put a new relay in first off and still had problems. all the wiring is good i checked that all out though it doesnt seem to be a problem anymore.

the injector line also stays tight now maybe it wasnt as tight as i thought i dont know i thought i had it tight. the chug is competly seperate and not related to the line. it would obviously miss and run bad when the line is loose but the chug would be tight line or not. the only spot i seem to be leaking is around the filter somewhere havent nailed it down but none of the lines are leaking.

today i pulled codes and it just had 1683 the communication/more to come code and the low map sensor voltage.

Hmm..... You see some fuel leakage at the fuel filter? When your LP goes down intermittently, your injector pump will try to pull a vacuum allowing air to be pulled from the leak area through to the injector pump. this can definitely cause a rough running condition. Cummins techs can install a sight glass at the VP-44 test port to look for bubbles in the fuel system.

i dont think its that. once the engine is running the lp runs fine and always has 30psi. the lp problem was when i would start the engine would turn off like i shut it off and the lp would not kick back on. i play w/ the relay the lp turns on and i would cranck the engine till it starts. then everything would run fine except for the chugging as i come to a stop.

ok well put a new pump in the computer was fried on the last one. so yeah no bueno. anys didnt test drive will tomorrow. ill let ya'll know how it goes

ok so test drove it today and im still getting that chugging. its not dieing from it now but its still chuggin like a freight train. any ideas whats causing it.
