Hmmmm. After taxes, probably see what 600-650K, I guess I'd buy a new truck and then put the rest in the bank and pay the monthly mortgage for a few years.

Thanks Rusty!! I really needed a good laugh and this was just what the Doctor ordered!! I grew up around and worked for farmers (vegetable, and dairy) as a youngster so I can relate perfectly to the joke.

I would pay off my credit card debt and maybe buy a 5th wheel so I could have my own space and then figure out the best way to make it grow so I could quit working for others... It really amazes me how some of these winners you hear about just got out and blow it all real quick on stupid stuff and end up right back where they were.

3. Buy a used diesel car for cruising during the summer.
   
4. Purchase an inexpensive home where we are going to retire at
   
5. Put some of the remainder in a mutal fund and some on real estate speculation.

Start a not-for-profit foundation of which you become an employee/director. You only pay taxes on your earnings... then you can take care of your friends as part-time employees, too. Pay your dad a grand to mow the lawn, stuff like that. You could write off most expenditures, having everything such as your vehicles owned by the foundation.



The best part though, is the philanthropy that you could do... college scholarships, mission trips, etc. I'd love to be able to give like that!

Pay off all the bills and build an indoor rodeo/ riding arena on the farm. And put the truck in the 10s.
