loud backfire uuder load

getting a loud backfire through exhaust does any one know how to ck injectors,seems to be comming from #4and#5 when injector kill test. wondering if i should switch wit #1and#2 injectors to see if it switches to thoes cyclinders any help would be great

I have same thing with my truck, it is more noticeable when under load although I also here subtle pop out exhaust when driving normal/unloaded as well, but only happens once in a while

I too have the same "pop" -- I believe it is TST related, Maybe the TST just makes it more noticable??

Yes I think TST makes it more noticable as well although I removed TST and drove for about a week and still heard it

It is related to the TST. Greg has a program fix for this & it works

Mine was noticable under light throttle with no load, towing it did it all the time, sent my TST back for a flash in November, got it back with no popping at all, just a slight surge at certain rpms.

trading in my o3 for an 05 tommorow getting 6 speed instead of 48 re great insentives through chrysler employees,i am not chrysler employed but work as a tech at dealer and got a screaming deal on new truck

Did you have a TST box on your truck as well? just curious if that is where pop is coming from

no i did not have tst i had ts ramifier and bully dog pup,took off ramifier and did not pop at all not even on the extreme setting on pup did injector kill test with drb and did not pop with #4 nd #5 turned off with ramifier and pup. got my 05 6 speed on sat,runs real well but pup and ramifier will not work with 05 they are for an 03 and04 if intrested call me at(570) 296-2636 and ask for jim in service or home at (570)828-8579 thanks
