Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I installed a DP-45, 45 gal. Aux. tank back in April and I love it! I put a big NAPA fuel filter/water separator downstream of the pump and valve, and now almost all of my fuel gets filtered twice. Twice as nice! And when I change the stock fuel filter, I just pump the new one full from the aux. tank, and get filtered fuel.
I tell ya though, one of the biggest reasons I bought it is that I spend a lot of time in Southern Cal. , and if there is another big earthquake I'll have enough diesel to truck on out of here! When the '94 earthquake hit most gas stations on my side of town were closed for days and days, and prices were artificially high.
The only problem is that I can't seem to find a locking gas cap which doesn't leak a little bit. The cap which came with the tank won't leak, but it is non-locking.
