just installed my six gun/speed loader on my 03 HO and i love it hauled 20+ head of cows and a tractor today and it pulls like a bat out of haiti i have no complaints gonna send it in for the upgrade though needs that low end but as far as top end torque bad a** mo fo

I agree and think it is the best thing since sliced bread for mountain climbing pulling a 12klb 5er turned up to six. I TOO WANT THE UPGRADE BECAUSE WE ALL NEED MORE POWER AND MONEY!

sent mine in last week and cant wait to get it back in just call and they will give you an ra # people at banks have always been very nice to me:D :D

Six-Gun

I hope you got gauges with your Six-Gun so you can keep an eye on EGTs, especially pulling loads. What power level do you tow in and what are the EGTs?

turbine have you upgraded the air intake or exhaust? I know the HO motors can almost get too hot at stock power levels as it is. I replaced the muffler with a 4" straight muffler and put an Aeroturbine ahead of the muffler.

That certainly helps. I assume you realize you can destroy the engine in a hurry with a 6-gun or any fueling box if you're towing without gauges (and even running empty) . . . whether or not you've upgraded exhaust & intake.

thought that was the reason for the thermocouple in the speed loader in the banks thought it was supposed to back out at a certain temp maybe you know more than banks engineers

I haven't ever used or seen one personally so I don't know how well it works. If set up properly it's probably working fine and a lot better than nothing, but it's nice having gauges and really know what temps you are running at so you can make good use of your power yet know when you're getting too hot and need to back out of it.

Gauges aren't too tough to put in, I like Autometers and many put them in with the A-pillar mounts. There have been quite a few posts on gauges and where to install the pyro sensor in the exhaust manifold.

yes i just sold my set of guages, what a dumbass huh but i trust banks and it has a thermocouple drilled into the #3 side of the exhaust manifold and it is supposed to limit egt's and i honestly believe that you can feel it backing out every now and then when pulling a big load. but i still plan on getting another pyro have a good day
