Sorry, put the wrong title in my original post.

When I put the tilt steering wheel in any of the 3 lowest positions my low beam headlights go out. In the highest of the 4 positions, all lights work fine. Also, the high beams work fine in all positions. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Pull the steering colum shrouds off you will probably find a pin pulled out of the switch or starting to fatigue.

Thanks for the info. Are you referring to the shrouds around the tilt lever and turn signal lever or the large shroud below the steering column? And what switch should I look at to find the pin?

I had this same problem, mine was a loose connector at the bottom of the steering wheel under the covers. I think the connector was blue.

Thanks a bunch for you help. The problem was actually a loose wire in the plug of the multifunction switch. Crimped it down, reassembled it and everything works fine.
