OK my truck is from Canada and has day time running lights. Right now I have no low beams, the high beams will come on but not stay on unless I hold the switch. The DTRL do work though so are the low beams the DTRL bulbs? They problem has been intermittant for a while and usually I could turn the headlight switch on and off or pull the high beams on and off and the low beams would come on but now I can't get the lows to work.

Does it sound like the multifunction switch? By the way it is a sport with the 4 bulbs.

Oh come on, someone must have a clue! How about our friends to the north? Anyone run into this before? Please help before I have to throw parts at my truck!

I don't have much info on the DRLM. The module is mounted on the drivers side wheel liner. It is pretty small and uses the high beams for DRL, it reduces the voltage to them so they are not real bright. I suspect the problem is in your light switch since you have had to nurse it before. If you have a volt meter or a test light, pull one of the bulbs and disconnect the wiring, there should be voltage there at all times as the switch just makes the ground to complete the circuit. I have a new 99 non fog light switch but I don't know if it is compatible with yours? Good luck, bg

I found the problem, finally got around to replacing the multifunction switch and my headlights are back to normal. $45 at Autozone and it was exactly the same as the one I took out including the names on it and the Chrysler emblem on it.
