Low Beams-sometimes!

My low beam headlights won't work when steering wheel is tilted all the way down. High beams work with wheel in any position. I suspect a broken wire in the colum.

Just thought I would ask if anyone has had this problem before I start ripping and tearing.

Have seen this problem on several trucks all I ran across had a wire pulled out of the plug on the Multi Position Switch (turn, dimmer, wiper) The wires going to it are tight. I was able to pull a little slack and glue the terminal into the plug and each time it works great. Only special tools you will need are tamper resistance torx bits
