Ive been messing around and my egt's seem very low. I ran the tst last night on 9 from 65-90mph, wide open convertor locked, couldent get over 1100F, the other night I got on it quick and it shot right to allmost 1200, maybe I diddnt see it right though. the turbo is stock (hy35) and makes 37 psi with the tst on 9. the only other things I have are an exhaust and a marine air filter. havent had any codes but I may try to connect to insite today.

jsut seems odd, when I saw the 1200 I was on a little more of a hill than the other times. and from 6-9 I can only get 1100F, I tried it on both, 9 pulls harder in the midrange and kind of flattens off, and has the same egts as #6 does. maybe vp tme again?

You upgraded your fuel system?

When I first put my TST on it seemed the same. No more noticeable "OOmph" past level 5. The response on levels 6 - 9 reminded me of older Honda bikes. Open the throttle more and all you got was more noise and no more power.

After I installed the Walbro / Big Line levels / Draw Straw levels 6 to 9 seemed to give more response vice just more noise. I have no dyno numbers to prove this. Just the SOP dyno.

That doesn't sound too off, if the TST is all you have. Once upon a long time ago, when I just had the drag comp on the truck, the egt's never really saw over 1200. But I agree, put a big line kit on to take care of the fuel system.

Ill be building my own line kit very soon. I drove it today and on 9 in third gear locked up it shoots right to 1200 and climbs slow on level ground, I diddnt have enough room to see how high it would go.

You know i had this thought today myself. I was driving from KC to Lawrence, Ks, approx 120 mi round trip, and noticed that my egts seemed lower than ive been used to. I still have a stock exhaust and charger so with the boxes I assumed my egts would go up. I cruise between 750-850 at 70 mph w/4:10's. I can punch it pretty good and climb to 1250 but thats all, and i can get 41lbs turning off my defuelers. Even lugging the motor in 6th doesnt change it much. I am personally wondering if my commander is reading low, but I am thinking I may drill a second hole in my mainfold and install my manual egt guage and start cross checking the readings.

My egts are down right now too... . it is 32* here in Pa. It is because of a cooler air charge going in due to the weather that cools egts. I wouldn't think that you are having vp problems unless you are getting codes or notice a bad surge or bucking. What are your temps?

I got it on the computer today at work and there are no codes. last night (1am) I couldent get over 1100 on the highway on a slight grade, today level ground third gear I get 1200 and it slows down and keeps climbing slowly, I ran out of room after that.
